We went for another round of cycling in the city area to shoot the lights and new new MBS area.

What a day! It's been raining the whole day! Before I left, weather looks nice and cool. The moment I stepped out it began drizzlining. Rain stopped for about 30 mins. Just managed to get one shot in with my EP1!

Today went cycling again with my new toy the Brompton. Decided to play around with the panning shots. And I was lucky/unlucky enough to find out that east coast was used for A biathlon competition. So decided to use the competitors for my panning shots too!

Went searching for birds and today saw really lots of birds nests! Especially those of the Baya Weaver. There were so many. These guys were really shy. When I was nearby they just stayed around the nest but never return. Had to move away and wait for them to return!

Haven't been managing to capture any nice bird shots these days. Went SBWR and saw a number of fellow photographers shooting a nesting bird. They were having so much fun. Anyway, took a couple of shots. Would have loved to stay to get a few nicer shots but had to rush off. Sigh. A Morning of Fun @ Upper Pierce. There were lots of people there today. Some activities there. Was walking around and saw some colorful birds which was later identified as the blue tailed bee eater. Other than the bee eater, managed to shoot another common bird there. The Collared King Fisher.

Chinese Pond Heron

Another shoot at Kent Ridge. This time I saw a Chinese Pond Heron. It was feasting on grasshoppers and insects so i got my chance to follow and shoot the bird.

The Chinese Pond Heron is a very shy bird. The moment I move slightly too near, it gets spooked. Had to stay quite a distance from it and all I had was a monopod. So didn't quite get it as sharp as I had wanted.
